YOUR EXTERIOR IS THE ONLY THING BETWEEN YOU AND THE GULF.

South Louisiana is hard on houses in a way that inland builders never have to think about. Heat pushes into west-facing rooms from March onward, rain arrives sideways, and humidity sits in any cavity that cannot breathe. An exterior that was installed carelessly does not fail dramatically. It fails slowly, one soft sheathing panel at a time, until a contractor opens a wall and finds 20 years of damage. We build the opposite way, sealing and flashing every transition so that water leaves the house instead of collecting inside it.

WE DO NOT LEAVE A JOB HALF FINISHED.

Corners, trim returns, J-channel, and the awkward runs behind a chimney chase take the longest and are the first things a rushed crew skips. Those details decide whether an exterior lasts 8 years or 30. We take the extra hours to get them right, clean up the site at the end of each evening, and walk the finished work with you before we ever ask for the final payment.

OUR EXTERIOR SERVICES

WHAT WE DO

Nine services, all focused on the outside of your home, all installed by the same crew rather than subcontracted out to whoever happens to be available that week.

Person installing black drainage pipe in a dirt trench beside a house

Gutter Installation

Seamless aluminum gutters formed on site to the exact length of your roofline, hung with hidden brackets and pitched so water actually moves. We size trough and downspouts to your roof area, not to whatever comes standard.

Car parked inside a modern garage with exposed ceiling beams and white walls

Soffit Installation

Vented soffit keeps air moving under the roof deck, which stops moisture from condensing in your attic through a Louisiana summer. We match panel profile and color to your existing trim and cut every return cleanly around eave corners.

Person painting an exterior fascia board with a spray gun under a roof edge

Aluminum Fascia Installation

Aluminum fascia wraps the board behind your gutter so it never sees rain again. We bend the metal on site for tight, continuous lines and fasten it so seams stay flat instead of oil canning in the afternoon heat.

Hands installing a black window screen frame with pliers on a workbench

Solar Screen Installation

Exterior solar screens stop heat at the glass instead of after it enters the room. Fabrics blocking 80 to 90 percent of solar heat and glare take a real bite out of afternoon cooling loads on west elevations.

Partially installed sliding glass window in a white exterior wall, with an open casement window beside it

Window Installation & Replacement

Old windows leak air around the frame long before the glass fails. We handle both insert and full-frame replacement, flash the opening properly, and set units that meet Southern zone efficiency criteria for this climate.

Scraper removing paint from rotten wood trim at an exterior window corner

Exterior Home Maintenance & Remodeling

The repairs that never quite make it to the top of your list, handled in one visit. Rotted trim, failing caulk joints, tired porch columns, carport ceilings, and exterior updates that change how the whole house reads from the street.

Common Questions

frequently asked
questions.

Homeowners planning exterior work tend to ask us the same questions in roughly the same order. Here are straight answers to the ones that come up long before anyone signs anything.

  • In what order should siding, gutters, and windows be replaced?

Windows go in first because they are cut into the wall, then siding wraps around the new flanges, and gutters hang last so nothing damages them. Reversing that order usually means paying twice for the same detail.

  • Should exterior projects be bundled together or handled separately?

Bundling saves money when the work shares details, since siding, gutters, soffit, and trim all meet at the same transitions. Independent items like solar screens can happen anytime. Sequencing matters more than bundling for anything that overlaps.

  • Can new siding be installed over the old siding?

It can in some cases, but it hides whatever is failing underneath. We prefer tearing off so we can inspect the sheathing and house wrap, since covering soft framing simply postpones a much larger repair bill.

  • What time of year is best for exterior work in south Louisiana?

Late fall through early spring is ideal because humidity drops and rain is less disruptive. That said, we work year-round and plan around the forecast, since waiting for perfect weather here means waiting a very long time.
